ABOUT US

 

Easy Livin’ LLC has been established to provide placement for children who are unable to remain in a family setting due to hardships such as physical abuse, neglect, and abandonment. We believe that one of the purposes of a group home is to provide a safe and secure environment that allows children to maintain their presence in the community while teaching them how to cohabitate with others in a supportive and non-threatening environment. Easy Livin’ LLC believes a structured environment that emphasizes positive interpersonal relationships and a core set of life skills will benefit individuals by providing them the necessary skills to become productive and responsible individuals. Easy Livin’ LLC assists youths with the preparation of becoming self-sufficient in the community through the use of program objectives that foster independent living skills. Residents are given the opportunity to benefit from a variety of community resources that serve to assist them in various areas of personal growth. The primary objective is to provide a plan of care that provides the necessary skills that are essential for individual success while meeting the individual needs of each client.

MISSION STATEMENT

Easy Livin’ LLC primary goal is to protect the welfare and improve the lives of children and young adults. make a positive difference in the lives of children through mentoring relationships as well as assisting them to achieve their highest potential as they grow to become confident, caring, and competent individuals. To strengthen the connection of children to the community by maximizing their living skills in preparation for transition into independent living, so that they become productive members of society. Our caring, dedicated and experienced staff will help assist us in this mission. In accordance with our Mission, we believe that every child deserves love, respect, and a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

SERVICE GOALS

 

1. To set quality-care goals and high standards for our home and staff. These goals go beyond

Licensing standards or professional accreditation, although these steps are important milestones on the road to higher quality. We believe we have the potential to achieve even greater

Quality, and therefore reach beyond these milestones to allow children to also reach

Their highest potential as we lead by example.

 

2. To help children develop positive self-esteem, problem-solving skills, socialization skills, and a true love of learning through self-acceptance.

 

3. To become creative, independent thinkers, to feel competent, productive and self-reliant, as well as fostering good self-esteem and a sense of self-worth;

 

4. To teach the children how to appropriately deal with peer pressure, and group interaction and to appropriately handle the consequences of their own choices and behaviors.

 

5. To teach understanding and skills in the areas of personal hygiene, communication, problem solving, value clarification, self-concept, and self- evaluation.

 

6. To protect and/or develop the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of the children.

 

7. To help the children understand that they are a part of a diverse, multicultural global community and that their actions influence the quality of that community.

 

8. To encourage the development of higher moral reasoning, helping children to develop into adults with an internalized code of ethics and principles.



 

Services vary per each child’s individual needs such as Physical activities, multi- cultural events, and transportation to appointments such as medical, dental, psychiatric, events or family visits. Administering meds as prescribed. Assisting in educational support. To assist or/promote family reunification where is possible.
